Mentorship Program
About This Opportunity
The WCS Mentorship Program is a 3-month, cohort-based program that supports women in advancing their careers in the cleantech and sustainability sectors. It includes three virtual cohort events, one-on-one meetings between matched mentor-mentee pairs, and an optional networking event.
Program Features:
- Regular one-on-one bi-weekly or monthly meetings with a mentor
- Expert-led sessions during three main cohort events
- Cohort breakout discussions for peer learning
- Networking opportunities with industry peers and leaders
- Access to seasoned professionals' guidance and career advice
Timeline (current cycle):
- Applications open: October 1
- Applications close: November 19
- Acceptances announced: December 17
- Program runs: January-March 2026
- Introductory calls: January 16
- Sessions: January 30, February 27, March 27
- Optional networking event: April 24
Eligibility
Mentees: Must be 18+, hold current WCS membership, have less than 5 years work experience or be in career transition, and be pursuing cleantech/sustainability careers. Mentors: Must be 6+ years into clean economy careers. Any gender welcome as mentors.
