Plug In America is hiring a State Policy Manager to lead state-level policy advocacy for electric vehicle adoption and clean transportation across the United States. This remote position plays a key role in advancing EV-friendly policies at the state legislature and regulatory commission level.

The State Policy Manager will track and analyze state EV legislation and regulatory proceedings, develop policy positions and advocacy strategies, build coalitions with utilities, automakers, and environmental organizations, represent Plug In America at state regulatory proceedings, prepare testimony and public comments, engage with state legislators and their staff, and coordinate with the national policy team on federal-state alignment.

Qualifications: 5+ years experience in state policy, government affairs, or regulatory work. Deep knowledge of the electric vehicle ecosystem. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with legislative and regulatory processes. Ability to travel as needed for hearings and events.
