Hitachi Energy is hiring a Control Lead Engineer in Chennai, India to lead control systems engineering for clean energy grid modernization projects. The Control Lead Engineer will design and implement control and protection systems for power grid infrastructure, lead engineering teams on HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) and FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) projects, develop control system architectures for renewable energy grid integration, perform system modeling and simulation studies, coordinate with global engineering teams and on-site commissioning crews, and ensure compliance with international grid codes and standards.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems. 8+ years experience in power systems control engineering. Expertise in HVDC, FACTS, or SVC systems. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or equivalent tools. Strong project management and team leadership skills.
